- 2 tablespoons salted butter, divided
- 8 large flour tortillas
- 8 ounces sliced ham
- 8 ounces shredded cheese (oaxaca, chihuahua, quesillo, asadero, monterey jack, or mozzarella)

Instructions
- Melt ½ tablespoon of butter over medium heat in a large skillet. Place one flour tortilla in the skillet and layer it with 2 ounces of ham and ¼ cup of shredded cheese. Top it with another tortilla and press lightly. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until the bottom is golden.
- Carefully flip the sincronizada and cook for another 2-3 minutes until it is golden brown and crispy.
- Repeat the process with the remaining ingredients.
- Cut each sincronizada into 4 wedges and serve hot with pico de gallo, guacamole, and sour cream.
Notes
Feel free to mix different types of cheese for added flavor.
Ensure tortillas are pressed gently to create a good seal and avoid fillings spilling out.
