Ingredients
Scale
- 1 large bunch curly kale
- spray oil (avocado, olive, coconut)
- 2–3 tablespoons nutritional yeast (plus more to taste if desired)
- ½ teaspoon salt, or to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 275°F.
- Wash and thoroughly dry the kale. Remove the tough stems and tear the leaves into large pieces. Spread the kale evenly across a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Lightly spray with oil, then sprinkle with nutritional yeast and salt. Gently toss with your hands to coat evenly.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, tossing halfway through. Keep a close eye during the last few minutes to avoid burning.
- Remove from the oven and let sit for 5 minutes for additional crispiness as they cool.
Notes
You can adjust the amount of nutritional yeast for a stronger cheesy flavor.
Ensure the kale is dry before baking for maximum crispness.
Experiment with your favorite seasonings for a customized flavor.
