Description

Ingredients

  • 10 ounces fettuccine or bowtie pasta
  • ¼ cup butter, salted
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • ¾ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt, more to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper, more to taste


Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2 minutes, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream, grated parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper into the skillet.
  4. Simmer the sauce for about 10 minutes or until it thickens.
  5. While the sauce simmers, cook the pasta according to package directions.
  6. After cooking, add the pasta to the cream sauce and combine. Serve hot.

Notes

You can use other types of pasta if desired, like bowtie pasta.
Feel free to adjust seasonings to your taste, adding more salt, pepper, or herbs.
