Description

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups juice milk, water or another chosen liquid
  • ½ cup kale or spinach, optional
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen fruit or berries
  • 1 cup ice cubes optional
  • ½ cup plain greek yogurt optional
  • 1 tablespoon honey or chosen sweetener, optional
  • other mix-ins powders, nut butters, seeds, etc.


Instructions

  1. Measure out 1 ½ cups of juice or other liquids and pour them into the blender first.
  2. If using fresh fruit, add it on top of the chosen liquid.
  3. Add ½ cup of kale or any other greens if desired.
  4. Include 1 cup of fresh or frozen fruit. Add 1 cup of ice cubes only if using fresh fruit primarily; otherwise, the frozen fruit is sufficient to thicken the smoothie.
  5. Add ½ cup of plain Greek yogurt and 1 tablespoon of honey. Top with any other mix-ins like powders, nut butters, or seeds.
  6. Blend the mixture until smooth. Pour into two cups and serve immediately or store for later.

Notes

Feel free to customize your smoothie with your favorite fruits and vegetables.
For a creamier texture, ensure to add yogurt or a banana.
If you prefer a sweeter taste, adjust the amount of honey or sweetener.
