This BLT Sandwich is a delicious classic featuring crispy bacon, fresh tomatoes, and crunchy lettuce. With simple prep and irresistible flavor, it’s perfect for a quick lunch or a satisfying dinner.

- 8 slices thick cut bacon
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 medium ripe tomatoes
- 4 leaves lettuce romaine or green leaf
- 8 slices sourdough bread
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the bacon using your preferred method. Baking is recommended for less mess and crispy results.
- Preheat the oven to 400℉ and line a sheet pan with foil. Arrange bacon slices on the pan without overlapping.
- Bake for 12-14 minutes until crispy, then transfer to paper towels to cool.
- Wash and dry the lettuce, then slice the tomatoes thickly.
- Toast the sourdough bread until golden brown, then spread mayonnaise on the inside of each slice.
- Build the sandwich layering lettuce, tomato slices with salt and pepper, and crispy bacon on one slice, topping with the other slice of bread.
- Cut the sandwich in half and enjoy!
Notes
For extra crunch, try adding pickles or avocado to your sandwich.
Feel free to substitute with different types of bread or lettuce based on your preference.
