Description

This Air Fryer Grilled Cheese features perfectly crispy bread and gooey, melted cheese, making it an irresistible choice for a quick dinner or comforting snack. With simple ingredients and easy prep, it’s the ideal homemade recipe for cheese lovers.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices bread (white, sourdough, or whole wheat)
  • 1 tablespoon softened butter or mayo
  • 2-3 slices cheese (sharp cheddar, american, provolone, swiss, gouda, or a combo)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 370°F for 3 to 5 minutes.
  2. Spread butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread. Place one slice butter-side down, add cheese on top, leaving space near the edges. Top with the second slice butter-side up and gently press together. Insert a toothpick in the center to hold it in place.
  3. Place the sandwich in the air fryer basket, ensuring it's in a single layer. Air fry at 370°F for 4 to 5 minutes. Carefully flip the sandwich and cook for another 3 to 4 minutes until both sides are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  4. Remove from the air fryer, take out the toothpick, slice, and enjoy!
