These Strawberry Rice Krispie Treats combine the classic crunch of rice krispies with a delightful strawberry flavor. With easy prep and just a few key ingredients, they’re perfect for parties or a sweet snack at home!

- 6 cups rice krispies cereal
- 8 cups mini marshmallows divided
- 1 1/2 oz strawberry gelatin mix about half of a 3-oz box
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a large saucepan over low–medium heat, melt the butter completely.
- Add a heaping 5 cups of marshmallows and let them sit for about 30 seconds, stirring gently.
- Add vanilla extract and gently stir. Sprinkle in the strawberry gelatin mix and stir gently again. Be careful not to overmix; this will prevent tough treats.
- Remove the pan from heat while marshmallows are partially melted. Continue stirring off the burner until the mixture is mostly smooth.
- Gently fold in the Rice Krispies and the remaining marshmallows until evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch pan. Lightly press down with buttered hands without packing it tightly!
- Allow to cool before cutting and decorating.
Notes
For an extra fruity flavor, consider adding fresh strawberries on top before serving.
Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature to keep them fresh.
For added fun, try using colorful marshmallows or sprinkles for decoration.
