Description

This Steak Salad offers a mouthwatering combination of grilled steak, crumbled blue cheese, and roasted potatoes on a bed of fresh lettuce. Perfect for a quick and healthy meal, it’s easy to prepare and bursting with flavor, making it an ideal choice for busy evenings.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces green leaf lettuce
  • 1 pound steak grilled or seared and sliced
  • 5 ounces blue cheese crumbled
  • 1 1/2 cups roasted potatoes
  • 1 cup grape tomatoes halved
  • 3/4 cup green olives
  • 1/4 cup red onion thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup vinaigrette more to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Roast the potatoes by arranging them on a rimmed baking sheet, drizzling with olive oil, salt, and pepper, and roasting for 15-20 minutes or until fork tender.
  2. Cook the steak to your desired temperature, following your preferred method for searing or grilling.
  3. Slice the steak and onions, and chop the tomatoes into the desired size.
  4. In a large salad bowl, arrange the lettuce. Top it with steak, roasted potatoes, blue cheese, green olives, halved grape tomatoes, and sliced red onion.
  5. Drizzle with vinaigrette dressing to taste.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce to the salad.
