Scale
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 4 tablespoons sugar

  • ½ cup fresh cherries (pitted)
  • 1½ oz dark chocolate (shaved)

Instructions

  1. Freeze the cherries and chocolate chunks for later use.
  2. Whip the egg in a mixer until it turns light yellow, gradually adding the sugar.
  3. Combine the cream, milk, and vanilla with the egg mixture, then transfer to an ice cream maker.
  4. Churn according to your ice cream maker's instructions for 20-30 minutes.
  5. During the last 3 minutes of churning, add in the frozen cherries and shaved chocolate.
  6. Scoop the ice cream into a freezer-safe container and freeze overnight.
