- 1 (24-oz) jar pasta sauce (traditional or tomato basil)
- ½ cup spaghetti cooking water
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil, add salt and spaghetti, cooking per package directions. Reserve ½ cup cooking water and drain the rest, mixing butter into the spaghetti afterward.
- Heat a large skillet on medium-high, adding oil and frozen seasoning blend. Cook for about 4-5 minutes until softened.
- In the skillet, add ground beef and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned, breaking the meat apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat if preferred.
- Mix the jar of sauce into the beef and add the reserved cooking water. Simmer for 3-5 minutes until heated through.
- Serve the spaghetti tossed in the sauce or on the side. Sprinkle with grated cheese if desired.
