Description

Savor the bold flavors of Honey Chipotle Turkey Burger Bowls. This dish combines tender turkey, spicy chipotle sauce, and crispy fries for a quick and tasty meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground turkey 99% lean
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • ¼ cup (60g) chipotle peppers in adobo
  • 2 tablespoons (42g) honey
  • 2 tablespoons (30g) red wine vinegar or any vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 bag (14 oz) jesse & ben's frozen beef tallow fries
  • 10 oz shredded lettuce
  • 6 oz cherry tomatoes halved
  • ¼ cup dill pickle chips
  • ½ cup (120g) yogurt ranch or lite ranch

Instructions

  1. Blend honey, chipotle peppers in adobo, vinegar, salt, and water. Alternatively, finely mince the chipotle peppers and mix. Set aside.
  2. Cook the frozen fries in an air fryer or oven as per package instructions.
  3. In the last 10 minutes of cooking the fries, heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add ground turkey and cook until golden brown, then break apart and continue cooking.
  4. Pour the honey chipotle sauce over the cooked turkey. Stir and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until sauce reduces and caramelizes. Keep warm until serving, adding water if needed.
  5. In bowls, layer shredded lettuce, honey chipotle turkey, fries, halved tomatoes, and pickle chips. Drizzle ranch dressing over the top.

Notes

For extra flavor, use fresh herbs or spices in the turkey mixture.
Substitute sweet potato fries or regular potatoes if desired.
Adjust the amount of chipotle peppers for spiciness preference.
