- 12 slices bacon or turkey bacon, cut in half

- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp finely diced shallots
- 1 tbsp thinly sliced green onions
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet.
- Halve the jalapeños lengthwise and remove seeds (wear gloves to avoid burning your hands).
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, shallots, and green onions until smooth.
- Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture, then wrap with a piece of bacon and secure it with a toothpick.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the cheese is bubbly. For extra crispiness, place them under the broiler for the last minute or two, but watch closely to prevent burning.
- Remove toothpicks before serving.
