Description

Bacon Wrapped Dates are a delightful combination of sweet and savory flavors. With crispy bacon and creamy goat cheese, this easy dish is great for appetizers or entertaining guests.


Ingredients

  • 10 ounces bacon (12 slices)
  • 24 medjool dates (pitted, 6.5 ounces)
  • 2 ounces goat cheese
  • 3 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (204 degrees Celsius).
  2. Slice each bacon strip in half.
  3. Stuff each date with goat cheese, then wrap a half slice of bacon around it.
  4. Place the wrapped dates on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Sprinkle the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper over the dates.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and caramelized.
