- ¾ cup milk, any kind
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons vanilla bean paste (or vanilla extract)
- 8 slices thick bread, such as texas toast or brioche
Instructions
- Preheat your Air Fryer to 370℉ if applicable.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla.
- Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, ensuring to coat both sides, then let excess drip off.
- Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper or use cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Place the bread slices in a single layer in the basket, leaving space between each. You might need to do this in batches.
- Cook for 4 minutes, then flip each slice and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm with butter and/or maple syrup.
Notes
Make sure not to crowd the air fryer basket for even cooking.
Adjust the cooking time based on the thickness of the bread used.
